FAQ

This page covers any questions you may have about buying or installing your SuperHotTub. Below you will find an F.A.Q. detailing many of the most commonly asked questions.

Choosing the best SuperHotTub for you

  • Firstly it’s important to think about how much space you have in your garden and the access to it. This may limit the tub size you can accommodate. Our Tahiti tub is a great choice in a small garden.
  • Then think about the maximum number of people you will have all at once in your tub. If you are planning sizzling tub parties, you might need more seats than a relaxing family size spa.
  • Our cosy spas are all of a good size but larger doesn’t always mean more seats. A large hot tub with less seats will give increased leg room to move around.

Can I put my hot tub on grass or soil

  • This is not really suitable. You will need to create a solid base for the hot tub to rest on.
  • This can be concrete, slabbing, gravel or decking providing the base is adequately reinforced.

What about plumbing

  • Hot tubs are usually filled and drained using a hosepipe, so additional plumbing is not required although an outside tap is handy for many uses.

Do you install the hot tubs

  • Our dedicated technician will deliver to your address, load the hot tub onto a sled or low load trolley and wheel into location providing access is clear. If you think access is restricted then you may need to arrange a crane. Give us a call to talk it through
  • We unwrap and set up the tub, then explain how to operate, so you can enjoy your SuperHotTub once the water has reached temperature.
  • We leave you with all the instructions you may need.

How are your hot tubs and spas made

  • Only top class materials are used, including American Aristech® Acrylic or Lucite shells and USA made industry leading Balboa controls.
  • For your peace of mind, all our hot tubs are covered by comprehensive warranty packages, please see our warranty page

How long will I have to wait for my hot tub to arrive

  • If your choice of hot tub is in stock we can deliver it in one to two weeks. If your hot tub is in transit from our factory it can take up to six weeks. If your spa has customised colors and extras delivery can take 10 to 12 weeks as our artisans hand-craft your spa

How much does it cost to run a hot tub or spa

  • Our cosy spas are all insulated to reduce heat loss.
  • A warm tub may add around £20 to £60 a month to your electricity bills, depending on the size of the fully heated spa and the time of year. That said its impossible for us to give specifics as everyone’s usage and location is different.

What happens if I need a crane

  • We can put you in touch with crane hires near your home. The cost for craneage can vary according to situation but on average is approximately £350.
  • You will need to advise the crane company of the day and time you will require them and any crane needs to be on site when our delivery team arrives.

How much space will I need

  • Our Delivery Team need an access space of between 1m and 1.2m, depending on your chosen hot tub. If you have less space than this, we may still be able to position your hot tub.
  • We will telephone you when you place your order to talk through any access problems beforehand. In some cases, a crane will be needed to position your hot tub.

Can hot tubs be used indoors

  • Yes, they can all work indoors or outdoors. However, you’ll need to consider ventilation, condensation, waterproof flooring and drainage if you are considering indoors.  Although most of the fun is in outdoor use!
  • We will gladly offer advice.

Are they Chinese made?

  • Our hot tubs are made in western Europe, to some of the highest standards of quality control in the business. We use USA acrylic for the shell and USA control systems and components. That said, being fair to dealers who sell from China - their tubs are made in a Chinese factory just like your IPAD from Apple.
